I imagine that just the way that authors moved from Medium to Substack, some other company will come along and create a platform that addresses these things, and we'll all migrate to that platform. Seems to be the way of the world right now.

Many tools in Creators Economy came and died, or will soon die. Medium or Substack—both should be a case study in IA failure and in content strategy failure, their findability, navigation, wayfinding, and journey mapping is exemplarily poor. We use them because we have no choice. I am not hopeful that anything next would be better.
I had the same issue when I started using SubStack. the only payment option is Stripe and Stripe is not available in India now.
